Clinical studies of the Medical-Geriatric Clinic in the University Hospital Basel 1977 - 1992 show the reduction of Pressure Ulcers over the last fifteen years proved that the combined AIRSOFT® and TURNSOFT® therapy is the most cost-effective in the healing and prevention of pressure ulcers and in the reduction of pulmonary and urinary tract complications for high risk patients.

The TURNSOFT® automatic system is a lateral rotation therapy for geriatric, ICU, SCI (Spinal Cord Injured) and other immobile patients. The high quality support surface is providing two treatments simoultaneously: constant pressure relief below the critical capillary closure for skin integrity, and lateral rotation for reducing pulmonary and urinary tract complications.

The AIRSOFT® mattress is a therapeutic super-soft support surface, relieving skin interface pressure below the critical capillary closing pressure.
